50+

The one thing that makes my day is playing in band. But for all of the eight years as a tuba player I have never owned a mouthpiece- up till today that is.

It was given to me by Erina as a birthday present. Now I don't know how to top that for her next birthday present.

I assure you, The Band world in IMM, the place we bought it at , is so remote , you need a guide to take you there ; either that or a keen sense of direction. I think we can agree I didn't have the latter. Add to that the directions for going there and you may very well have a recipe for disaster.

Directions:
1. Blah blah blah left right left Best Denki
2. Blah blah blah straight, u-turn, left furniture shop.
3.Go in through the entrance that says "no entry".

Seriously, it's true. The whole time you are walking there you feel like you are not on the right track. Plus you feel like you are doing something wrong.

In the end, we got there , with help from a certified guide, no less.

long long corridor

Now you know why it's so difficult to find. It feels like walking through a horror movie. There practically isn't any other shops around. Locale aside, it's heaven for band members.

There's scores, mouthpieces, drumsticks - almost everything one wants for band, you can find it here. Erina met up with Ms. Sia, her JC band conductor , there. Before we left, Mr. Ong wanted to treat us to lunch. For myself , it took quite alot of self restrait to refuse but in the end we said no.

We were walking around in Giant after lunch when we spotted this peculiarity.

You have heard of musical chairs.

You have heard of musical fountains.

Now embrace the musical biscuit.

In stereo, of course.

Looks like oreo, smells like oreo but it's better. It's Stereo.

But I digress. Here's what Erina and I bought.
