Just the other day I was on a eastward bound train. The train reached a station, stopped and for a full minute, nothing happened. It left the station without opening the doors and the uncle standing beside me promptly let out a big "eh!", frustration, surprise and a tinge of doubt all mixed in one exclamation.
I thought there was some secret civil defence exercise going on. After all, it's not everyday that trains don't open their doors at stations. Alas, it was nothing as exciting as what I thought it to be when the SMRT train captain let us in on the "technical fault" that caused the anomaly. The thoughtful captain further advised commuters to drop at the next station and take the train in the opposite direction .
oh. And I am v stressed because I just chatted with my friend on MSN and a while later she told she was going home from school. It was 1200 am.
That is very fierce.
