You know at the end of every NEA advertisement there is this faint mosquito-like buzz. I was thinking the other day how irritating that was and now they have a full fledged security measure based on that.
Apparently in Wiltshire, devices emitting soundwaves are installed around a problem area to drive young troublemakers away because - get this - it works by emitting a harmless ultra sonic tone that generally can only be heard by people aged 25 and under.

I don't even know what to think.
The kids there have got back at the system though. They have recorded the sound and turned it into a ringtone which means most teachers wouldn't detect it.
