The Quest

Going shopping has never been my cup of tea. When I must, most of the time I go alone because I think it is rather weird to have people judge what you are going to buy. Especially if you think it's a masterpiece and your friends think it is a downright disaster. I sometimes go with my mum though. Most of the time she will say whatever I choose is not bad. I heart her sia.

Today was one of my must-go-shopping days. This is because tomorrow is my concert and I still haven't gotten my plain white long sleeve shirt. So I went to Bugis thinking it would be a touch and go affair.

I first explored Giodano. But the only white long sleeve shirts I saw were these.




Bossini was my next stop and that too, yielded nothing. Seiyu, where I finally got the top at was my next stop. I headed straight for the long sleeve business shirt section.

Me: Do you happen to sell white long sleeve shirt?
Salesperson: Have! On promotion somemore. Got four designs.

I merely gaped at what she was showing me.

Me: Erm....Got plain white long sleeve shirt? Those business kind?
Salesperson:*shrugs* Got. Wait ah... I find.

She then actually finds a plain white long sleeve shirt that looks exactly like what I imagined it to be. White. Long sleeved and not in silk.

Salesperson: This one also on discount. 20%

Overjoyed, I nearly cried out loud. That is, until I saw the price tag. It was a cool $79.

Running away from her, I found on the same level another section having a promotion for long sleeve shirts. There was only one white one left. It fitted me. And it was $16. :)
