in theory

I forgot to post an entry about the grade 5 theory exam I took last week in MDIS campus.

The fact that I actually took the exam was a miracle in itself as a week before the exam I felt totally unprepared for it. Thanks must be made to my theory sensei Zi xian for encouraging me and of course reminding me of the hundred plus I paid for it. So I mugged a little for the exam in the midst of concert preparations and in the end I think it turned out rather well.

Of course, not for the first time, I had some trouble looking for the venue of the examination - MDIS campus. I can't really recollect how I eventually got there but I do remember seeing the whole place swarmed with little children. In fact, I felt old just looking for the room I was supposed to take the exam in.

Then there was the issue of the little ones' parents standing outside, blocking the door.Evidently they thought I was supposed to be looking for my little brother as they happily left a little space for me to put my face through. Eventually though, I was let through and found my seat beside a little girl. From my view at the back of the class, at least three quarters of the exam takers were 10 and below. I don't know whether to feel happy or sad for them.

So the test proceeded without any major incidents but I left early as I was running late for my tuition. I think I should pass but we'll see la. Haha.
