On the run

Sometimes when I run, I hear songs in my head! Weird but true. Last year's Army Half Marathon had me listening to Poema Alpestre at the East Coast Stretch. I think my friend was pretty freaked out when I started to run even faster( I think it was the storm part).

When the running becomes a little tiring(and monotonous) , it pays to have a song or two to boost your morale!

And so this morning, after months of not running, half expecting to stop before the 2.4 km mark, I heard the breaking of the fellowship, in particular the singing part at the 1km mark.

It really is a beautiful song to accompany a beautiful movie. And when I think about about it I think I have no need for an ipod shuffle anymore! =)
