The Motorcycle Whisperer
I believe I may have an overdose of vitamin E.
Today marked the first day of NDP preparations for my platoon. And while I slogged under the afternoon sun, somewhere, a loyal Singaporean is placing early bids for his NDP tickets. It was bad but it could have been worse. It could have been raining.
This morning as we gathered at the padang for a briefing, my friend, was recounting his motorcycle adventures. This instantly brought to my mind this image.
One wheel drive
Now, this may be a little exaggerated but what came to my mind next was :
And she even sings.
In old Chinese movies where fans are used as shields and pipes are inserted into rice-paper windows to sedate the victim, when the hero mounts the horse he would cry "Jia!" upon which the horse cobble its way to near break-neck speed. A protracted "Yu..." and a sharp backward pull on the reins signified stop.
Kevin, one of my other friend in the conversation was a disaster at emergency braking. He took a total of 9 lessons to learn it.( the usual is about 1 or 2,if you are wondering)
"you know why you took so long to pass?" I asked, to a blank look from him.
"'cause you didn't say 'yu' loud enough"
It took a couple of seconds, but the joke registered.
FCK YOU! i did not take 9 lesson. that's so alot. 200 dollar to learn emergency brake i rather slam my bike onto a tree in situation..
