Simple gifts

I love the fact that people walk up to me one day and tell me something they read from my blog. In fact, I dig comments and crave for shoutouts - even if it's a simple "hi". Don't be ridiculous, it is not an ego thing. It is about readers caring enough to leave a little something behind.

It comes as a surprise then that my good friend Xinhui cared enough to treat me to a Zinger Burger Meal after I posted about it being my ideal birthday present last year. Nevermind that the treat should have been all of nine months back. The promise has been kept, the prophecy fufilled.

Thank you Xinhui for a wonderful time.(though I do feel a trifle guilty having eaten the crispy piece of deep-fried chicken meat wedged between the sandwich.)

And now. Who's going get me an Ipod video for my 21st birthday ? I'ld like a black one please.
