Like the stone in the pic, standing next to him can be a rather intimidating experience. But I think he's very much thinner. And more conversational. Heh. I resolve from now on to make friends only with people whose height is below 160cm and are ardent fans of KFC.
Speaking of which I haven't had in the longest time. I think I shall campaign for a KFC outlet in school. Maybe take over the Macdonalds or subway. Or maybe, the security office.
Stone, by the way, scoffs at all food that is not home-cooked. And especially at fast food restaurants. All the times I've seen him in the canteen (which rocks), he is either watching me wolf my chicken chop or studying his notes(which sometimes gets splattered by the oh-so-delicious chicken chop gravy).
I asked one day what keeps him from eating erm..non home-cooked food being sold in the canteen.
Stone: Home-cooked food healthier!
Indeed. Sometime I feel guilty tucking into the oil-coated lump of meat. But the extents he goes to eat home-cooked food is worth saluting. Take today for example. We met in school at about 10am. We left school about 8.30 p.m. In the period of 10 hours in school I had one huge plate of chicken rice, add roasted pork, add egg for lunch and for good measure, a vanilla bun for dinner. Stone had nothing but what I surmised to be a few sips of water.
This happens so often, that if he eats one day in school I would be thrown out balance by the tumultuous changes in my life. If he were alot darker though, I would have thought he was fasting or something.
He also has this uncanny ability to tell what time of the day it is just by looking at the heavens. And most of the time he gets it right plus minus 5 minutes, which is amazing because some lessons can feel like an hour when only 5 minutes have passed. Previously I would ask him for the time just for the kicks of it. It grew tiring after a while because he gets it right every single time. I suspect he is snickering at me everytime I ask him.
Today I realised I didn't know him very well at all.
It was just before the maths test and I was humming "Bao bei dui bu qi" by the grasshoppers.
Stone: very noisy le
Me: What noisy, music ok.
Stone: to you la.
I think I will go practice this weekend. KTV anyone?
Just eat la!
