Tubas united

The NUSWS tuba section went out on Saturday night. We found ourselves in Vivocity for dinner at Kim Gary's, a Hongkong cafe.

To say the food there is good is an understatement by itself. It was fantastic.

The chicken chop baked rice comes highly recommended by both Yong Kiat and I. The presentation was a little weird though coming in a steam basket and all. The cheese on the other hand was heavenly and the chicken, tender.

Not something I would expect from a Swensen's branch anytime.

Drown it with a tall glass of iced Milo and you almost get the perfect meal. Yong Kiat had his Milo with Milo blended dusted with Milo powder. The Milo, chicken chop baked rice and soup comes in a set at a reasonable 10 plus dollars.

Weeping had cheese baked rice with beef while Erina had fish with spaghetti. Later on I asked her how good it was.

"Never see I didn't share with you all meh?"

The next time I come, I will try the fish.

But the ultimate was Huishan who ordered "typhoon" style noodles.

It looked really quite high.

Too bad Derek wasn't around to savour the excellent food. Haha.
