Years ago, when I was still in year 2 in university, the bass section in NUSWS decided to commit to a rather bold endeavour - to take part in an ensemble competition - all 7 (I think, or was it 8?) tubas. It was an awesome undertaking and sometimes,I think that may have been one of our finest moments. That and probably hitting the pedal C in the opening of Planet Earth. In any case, if you are ready, be prepared for some really low sounds, sit back, relax and turn up the bass.
