Webcast

I was supposed to be in school by 8 am for a maths lecture today.

I woke up at 9 instead.

The computer was powered up while I brushed my teeth and retrieved my hotdog bun from the kitchen table. My notes were taken out in preparation for my lecture.

Pressing the play button, I sat back and realised that webcasts aren't so bad after all. You can pause and sneak a visit to the loo without worrying about missing any important points. You can replay on the spot what concepts you do not understand and best of all you can get to view it anytime after it is uploaded ; Perferably before the next tutorial. Ultimately, it's all about learning. It does not matter you are present in lecture or viewing the exact same thing at home 2 hours later, right?

What ever the case, it was a fruitful lecture made all the more interesting by a fantastic lecturer. He has a module blog which goes over important concepts he covers in lectures and even sends e-mail reminders to bring the notes for the next chapter.

And, (hold your breath now), he isn't my assigned lecturer. But thanks to him, I've got my Fridays free, I can wake up late on Tuesdays and a higher chance of getting more out of every lecture.

Friday dates anyone?
